VERMONT PORK CHOPS RECIPE

  INGREDIENTS:

1 C. catsup 1 C. maple syrup 2/3 C. white wine 1/4 C. water 1 bouillon cube 1 bay leaf 2 cloves garlic, minced 1/4 tsp. ground ginger 3/4 tsp. thyme 1 1/2 tsp. basil 1/2 tsp. dry mustard 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 4 pork chops, 1 1/2 inch thick

DIRECTIONS:

In sauce pan, combine all ingredients except pork chops.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes; stir occasionally.
Meanwhile, bake chops 30 minutes at 375 degrees; pour sauce over chops.
Bake 15-20 minutes more, spooning sauce over chops every 5 minutes.
