THREE LAYER CASSEROLE RECIPE

INGREDIENTS:
1 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 C. tomato sauce
1 C. sour cream
3 oz. cream cheese
6 green onions sliced as for salad
1/2 C. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
DIRECTIONS:
Brown beef, salt, sugar and garlic powder. Drain. Add tomato sauce and simmer for 20 minutes uncovered. In separate bowl mix sour cream, cream cheese and green onions. Cook 8 oz. noodles according to package directions. Alternate layers of noodles, meat mixture and cream sauce in a greased casserole dish. Repeat layers. Top with grated cheese. Bake at 350º for 40-45 minutes or until browned. Can be frozen. Serves 4.
