1 1/2 pound loaf: 1 1/2 tsp. active dry yeast 3 1/4 C. bread flour 1 tsp. salt 1/2 C. sugar 4 Tbsp. butter 2 eggs 5 ounces warm milk 3 ounces warm water 3 Tbsp. currants 1 pound loaf: 1 tsp. active dry yeast 2 C. plus 3 Tbsp. bread flour 1/2 tsp. salt 5 1/2 Tbsp. sugar 3 Tbsp. butter 1 egg 3 ounces warm milk 2 ounces warm water 2 Tbsp. currants

DIRECTIONS:

For Panasonic/National machines, use 2 tsp.
of yeast for the 1 1/2 pound loaf Light and sweet, this rich white bread is great at breakfast, spread with jam or jelly.
