PARMESAN PEPPER MEAT BALLS RECIPE

  INGREDIENTS:

1 lb. ground beef (or ground turkey) 1/2 C. parmesan cheese, grated 1/2 C. dry bread crumbs 2 eggs 1/2 tsp. garlic salt 1/2 tsp. salt All purpose oil 3 C. water 2 beef bouillon cubes 1/2 C. celery slices 2 Tbls. cornstarch 1/2 C. green pepper strips 1/2 C. onion slices 1 C. mushroom slices 1/4 C. pimento strips Hot cooked noodles

DIRECTIONS:

Combine meat, cheese, bread crumbs, eggs and seasonings.
Shape into 18 balls.
Brown in oil.
Drain.
Add 1 1/2 cups water, bouillon cubes and celery, cover, simmer 10 minutes.
Combine cornstarch with remaining 1 1/2 cups water, stirring constantly until well blended.
Gradually add cornstarch mixture to meatballs stirring until mixture boils and thickens.
Add remaining vegetables.
Cover; simmer 5 minutes, stirring.
serve over cooked noodles, 4 to 6 servings.
