OLD FASHIONED DEER LOAF RECIPE

  INGREDIENTS:

1 lb. ground deer (shoulder, neck or flank), marinated 1/2 lb. pork sausage 1 onion, chopped 1/2 C. water 1 carrot, chopped 2 stalks celery, chopped Salt and pepper 1 egg 3/4 C. bread crumbs 1 clove garlic, minced 1 1/2 C. canned tomatoes 2 Tbsp. parsley, chopped 1/2 green pepper, chopped 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

DIRECTIONS:

Mix all ingredients except tomatoes and water.
Shape into a loaf and place in roaster.
Pour tomatoes and water over meat.
Cover pan.
Bake at 375 degrees for 3 hours.
