DROP DOUGHNUTS RECIPE

INGREDIENTS:
1 C. sugar
1 C. milk
2 eggs
3 C. flour
3 Tbsp. baking powder
Pinch of salt
Dash of nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
DIRECTIONS:
Beat eggs until light. Add sugar, salt, vanilla and nutmeg. Sift flour with baking powder, add to mixture alternately with milk. Drop by teaspoonful into deep hot fat. Fat should be hot enough to brown cube of bread in 1 minute or 370 degrees. Drain on soft paper and roll in powder sugar.
