  INGREDIENTS:

1 1/2 lbs. lean boneless beef 6 Tbsp. soy sauce 2 Tbsp. sugar 2 Tbsp. sesame oil or salad oil 2 Tbsp. rice wine (Sake) 1 green onion (including top), thinly sliced 2 cloves garlic, minced 1/8 tsp. black or red pepper

DIRECTIONS:

Cut meat across the grain into thin slices.
In a bowl, combine all other ingredients.
Add meat to bowl; cover and refrigerate for 3-4 hours.
To cook: Place meat on a lightly greased grill about 4 inches above a solid bed of glowing coals.
Cook, turning once, just until browned on both sides (2-3 minutes).
Serve immediately.
Serves 4-6.
